During our stay in Gulu, our volunteers observed the interesting reality of an artisan tailoring workshop run by two women who could be upgraded giving way to two other girls to work.
Therefore, Laura Butta decided to create some models of bags that could be fashionable for the Italian market and made with materials and technologies available in Gulu.
The production of these bags began in 2015 and continued today. The bags are sold in Italy in the markets organized by Pace Adesso. The proceeds of these bags allowed the tailor's workshop to increase and stabilize its activity by being able to assemble two new seamstresses and buy two new sewing machines.
